Social communication
When the words are there but the conversation isn’t.
Some children have plenty of words and still find conversation hard: taking turns, joining play, answering questions, or moving past phrases they’ve memorized. Others communicate best with pictures or a speech-generating device.
I work with both, at home, where the real conversations happen. AAC doesn’t stop a child from learning to talk. It gives them a way to be understood while speech develops, and for some kids it becomes their main voice.

Rates for Chalfont families
$165 a home session. No contract.
You pay one session at a time, and teletherapy is $130. Travel to Chalfont is included, so there’s no mileage charge on top. I’m private pay and send an itemized superbill every month for out-of-network reimbursement, and HSA and FSA cards work too.
