In-home speech therapy for Doylestown kids, no waiting room required.

Doylestown families have plenty of therapy options. Mine is deliberately narrow: one therapist, one child, in your own home, week after week. I’m based in Perkasie, and travel to Doylestown is included in the session fee.

Why at home

What changes when therapy happens in your living room

Therapy works best when practice carries over into everyday life. Doing it at home removes a step.

  • Your child practices in the place they actually talk the most.
  • You’re there for every session and learn exactly what to do between visits.
  • Siblings, pets and daily routines become part of the plan instead of distractions.
  • No drive, no parking and no waiting room with a restless toddler.
  • The same therapist every week, who knows your child’s history.

What I help Central Bucks families with

Birth to 3

Late talking

Few words, no word combinations yet, or a vocabulary that stopped growing. Coaching you is most of the work.

Ages 2 to 12

Speech sounds and stuttering

Articulation, motor planning, and kids who get stuck on the first sound of a word.

Ages 3 to 12

Understanding and using language

Following directions, answering questions, and telling a story in order.

All ages

Social communication

Conversation, play with other kids, and AAC for children who need another way to be understood.

The evaluation

What to expect at the first visit

Nothing costs you anything until the evaluation, and you’ll know before then whether it’s worth doing.

  1. 1

    A free 15-minute call

You tell me what you’re seeing. I tell you honestly whether an evaluation makes sense.

  2. 2

    About ninety minutes at home

Play and standardized testing, usually within two weeks of the call. $275, billed once.

  3. 3

    A plan you can read

A written summary in plain language, with goals you’ll recognize in your child’s day.

  4. 4

    Weekly sessions

Same day and time each week, fifty minutes, with parent coaching included.

Meet your therapist

Cassie Vitale, M.S., CCC-SLP

14 years with kids · ASHA certified · Hanen “It Takes Two to Talk”

Before opening Home Field, I spent fourteen years in Bucks and Montgomery County schools, where caseloads decided how much time each child got.

Now I work with a small number of families at a time. You’ll see me at every session, not an assistant or a rotating schedule.

Parents

From families in upper Bucks and nearby

My daughter went from a handful of words to actual sentences in a school year. What surprised me was how much of it was Cassie teaching me what to do at the dinner table.

She sat on the floor with him for ten minutes and then told us exactly what she was seeing. We had been waiting four months for somebody to say a plain sentence to us.

Mom of a 3-year-old · Sellersville

He used to shut down when people asked him questions. Now he corrects me. Cassie never once made him feel like something was wrong with him, and he asked when she was coming back.

Questions

Doylestown parents ask

Yes. Doylestown is part of my regular area, and travel is included in the $165 session fee.

Not much. Give me your street on the call and I’ll confirm I can reach you every week.

School speech is designed around the classroom and usually happens in small groups. Private sessions are one-to-one and built around your goals. With your permission, I’ll coordinate with the school SLP.

Evaluations are usually scheduled within two weeks. If I’m full, I’ll tell you on the phone and point you to two therapists I trust.

No, I’m private pay. I send an itemized superbill each month that you can submit for out-of-network reimbursement, and HSA and FSA cards work too.
