Speech therapy that comes to Souderton homes.

Souderton is one of the Montgomery County towns inside my regular travel area, so a weekly home visit here costs the same as one in Perkasie. Your child works one-to-one with me, from the first evaluation to the last session. Birth through age twelve.

Early Intervention

Private therapy can sit alongside Early Intervention.

Pennsylvania’s Early Intervention program serves children from birth to age five, and plenty of Souderton families start there. Some add private sessions for more one-to-one time, or to keep things moving while they wait for services to begin.

If your child already has a plan, bring it to the free call. I’ll build around it rather than repeat it.

Birth to 3

Infant and toddler services

Pennsylvania’s Early Intervention for babies and toddlers is arranged through the county. Private sessions can run at the same time, with the same goals.

Ages 3 to 5

Preschool services

In Montgomery County, preschool Early Intervention comes through the intermediate unit. I’m glad to read the plan and work toward it.

Souderton Area schools

Once your child is in school, speech services come through the district. With your permission, I’ll talk with the school SLP so we aren’t doubling up.

Around Souderton

The borough, and the towns around it.

Most sessions happen at home, where your child is most relaxed. When it helps, we can meet at a daycare or a relative’s house instead.

Cassie Vitale, M.S., CCC-SLP

14 years with kids · Early intervention, birth to three · Hanen “It Takes Two to Talk”

I spent fourteen years evaluating and treating children in Bucks and Montgomery County schools before opening my own practice.

Private practice lets me do what school schedules never allowed: see one child at a time, in the room where they talk the most, and coach the parents who are with them every day.

She sat on the floor with him for ten minutes and then told us exactly what she was seeing. We had been waiting four months for somebody to say a plain sentence to us.

Questions

Questions from Souderton parents

Yes. Travel is part of the $165 session fee in Souderton and every other town I serve.

Yes. Many families do both. Share your child’s current plan and I’ll work toward the same goals, so the practice adds up instead of pulling in different directions.

Yes. It’s about ninety minutes of play and standardized testing, usually scheduled within two weeks of the first call. You get a written summary and a plan you can actually read.

No. School services are built around access to the classroom, usually in a small group. I work one-to-one on the goals you care about, and I’m happy to coordinate with the school team.

That’s common, and it’s one reason I come to you. Most kids warm up once we’re on the floor with their own toys, so the first visit leans heavily on play.
