Dublin & Silverdale, Pennsylvania

Speech therapy in Dublin and Silverdale, starting with the littlest talkers.

Dublin and Silverdale are a short drive from my Perkasie base. Many parents first call me about a toddler who isn’t using many words yet, and at that age the most useful thing I can do is coach you at home. I see children from birth through twelve.

Signs a free call is worth making

Every child moves at their own pace, and a lot of variation is normal. These are the patterns that usually make it worth a closer look:

  • Few or no words by around 18 months.
  • Not putting two words together by around age two.
  • Lots of frustration or meltdowns when they can’t get their message across.
  • Understanding seems well ahead of what they can say.
  • Your gut keeps telling you something is off.
Inside a session

What coaching looks like at your house

For young children, the week between visits matters more than the hour I’m there. So most of what I do is show you how to use everyday moments.

  1. 1

    Play on the floor

We work on your child’s goals with their own toys, snacks and books, with you right there.

  2. 2

    Your turn

The last part of each session is for you: what I did, why it worked, and how to try it.

  3. 3

    Five minutes a day

Practice that fits bath time, snack or the car, not a worksheet.

  4. 4

    Check in and adjust

Every eight weeks we look at what’s changed and update the plan together.

My daughter went from a handful of words to actual sentences in a school year. What surprised me was how much of it was Cassie teaching me what to do at the dinner table.

Your therapist

Cassie Vitale, M.S., CCC-SLP

14 years with kids · Early intervention, birth to three · Licensed in Pennsylvania

I’m trained in Hanen’s “It Takes Two to Talk” program, which is built on a simple idea: for children under three, parents are the most powerful part of therapy.

Before private practice I spent fourteen years in Bucks and Montgomery County schools. Now I see one child at a time and stay with each family until the work is done.

Questions

Questions from Dublin and Silverdale parents

Yes. Both are a short drive from my Perkasie base, and travel is included in the session fee.

No. I work with children from birth through twelve. If you’re worried about a baby or toddler, the free call is a good place to start.

You can do either, or both. Pennsylvania’s Early Intervention program evaluates young children at no cost to families, and private sessions can run alongside it.

Playing alongside us, and then practicing with me coaching you. For toddlers, that coaching is most of the therapy.

Yes, through age twelve. With your permission, I’ll coordinate with the school SLP so we’re working on the same goals.
